IEEE Smart Cities Initiative

On Wednesday 10 and Thursday, December 11 Franco Amigoni participated, as a representative of the network Connected City Council and administrator of Sincron Polis, the event "IEEE Smart Cities Initiative" held in Palazzo Geremia in Trento.
The event, organized by IEEE ("IEEE is the world's largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through IEEE's highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities ") and the University of Trento with the sponsorship and TrentoRise, welcomed experts from all over the world around 7 working groups to define strategies for smart Trento and for all the territories that will take a cue from its setting. The table at which we attended the workshop on E Goverment, one of the most delicate, as witnessed by the presence of Gilles Betis, chairman of IEEE Smart Cities Initiative. Work will continue with the processing of white papers on seven topics covered: big data open data, and government, health and well being, energy efficiency, integrated tourism, mobility, City Council strategy group.
